Sanitary dignity packs for Botse-Botse Secondary School

As part of the back-to-school campaign 2026, Putco employees at the Soshanguve and Sandfontein depots collected and donated sanitary pads to the Botse-Botse Secondary School in Soshanguve, Pretoria on January 30. Putco joins national efforts to ensure that girls stay in school and don’t miss classes due to a lack of basic sanitary items.

Botse-Botse Secondary is one of the best performing schools in Soshanguve with a consistent pass rate of over 90%.

The school expressed its gratitude for the donation. Putco Public Relations Officer Norma Maswanganye has thanked the school for the warm welcome and sent a special message of appreciation to all the staff members who made the donation possible. “This is the Putco family spirit! Our employees are sensitive to the needs of our communities and will play a role whenever the need arises.”

Putco auto electricians Daphney Mashego and Puleng Motaung who were part of the delegation, took the opportunity to educate the learners about career opportunities available in the company and the transport sector.
