Incident-free Moria Journey

Putco successfully transported approximately 30,000 Zion Christian Church (ZCC) pilgrims to and from Moria for the 2025 Easter weekend without any reported incidents, marking a safe return for the annual pilgrimage after a five-year, COVID-induced pause. The operation utilized nearly 500 buses, supported by real-time tracking, fatigue management, and strict safety protocols.

Key Safety and Operational Measures:

  • Driver Preparation: Drivers underwent intense refresher training, focusing on defensive driving and fatigue management.
  • Technology & Monitoring: Netstar’s live tracking and onboard cameras were used to monitor driver behavior and bus locations in real-time.
  • Fleet Management: A mix of new-generation buses (including G7 Mercedes-Benz) and a, robust, well-maintained fleet was used.
  • Logistics & Support: Buses departed around 1:00 a.m. to avoid heavy traffic, with contingency plans for spare buses.
