Putco and its stakeholders, the Road Traffic Management Corporation, Johannesburg Metro Police Department, the Gauteng Department of Community Safety, Gauteng Police and the South African Police Service took to Pennyville outside Soweto on Wednesday, 07 October 2026, to engage with members of the public on road safety issues. Nearly 2000 pedestrians die on South African roads every year, and this campaign aims to help prevent pedestrian deaths because your safety is our priority.
