Soshanguve Business Unit Technical Manager Morny Nortman has scooped the Bus Passenger Best Fleet Manager Award at the MasterDrive Fleet Safety Awards walking and walked with a cash prize of R20 000. The winners were announced in November 2025 in Johannesburg. The competition, launched in 2022, aims to honour companies and individuals who show a high level of commitment to road safety. The bus category was sponsored by the Southern African Bus Operators Association (SABOA).
Master Drive says the winners of this category had to to demonstrate visionary leadership, the ability to lead and inspire a safety-conscious team and show measurable results consistently. Nortman went beyond setting the safety standard and ensured that passengers are safe. Our low accident rates speak for themselves.
