4. Stores Manager (Inventory - Heavy Duty Vehicle Parts / Units)

Based at: Roseville (Pretoria) and Johannesburg

Requirements: A minimum of Grade 12 (Std. 10) or equivalent academic qualification. Tertiary qualification in Inventory Control. 8 years Inventory experience. Relevant supervisory experience.

Outputs: Ensure proper control of the Distribution Stores operations. Manage the transportation and delivery of consignments to the BU. Determine the requirements and ensure the proper procedure for the correct handling and moving of consignments. Manage the maintenance, optimal utilization and replacement of all the delivery vehicles. Implement Company Occupational Health and Safety policies.

Manage and ensure correct layout of BU stores. Ensure that correct levels of stock are maintained at the BU. Assist in the budget planning process and monitor expenditure. Coordinate BI-Annual stock take for the Business Unit. Plan, allocate and manage staff according to operational requirements and priorities. Control A & B Unit claim register. Control outstanding orders report on a monthly basis. Check late GRV listing for month-end accruals. Ensure adequate control and management of salvage units. Control Oil & Anti-freeze levels including Diesel dips and deliveries at all three depots. Plan and control the small tool and special tools.

5. Supervisor (Monitoring Control Centre)

Based at: Roseville (Pretoria)

Requirements: Grade 12 plus appropriate and recognized Tertiary qualification. 5 years Operations experience in the transport industry environment of which at least two years have been in a Supervisory position. Experience of working at a supervisory level within a Control Room as well as with Electronic Fleet Management and Monitoring Systems is preferred. Computer literacy essential at intermediate to advanced level.

Outputs: Supervise the day-to-day activities of Monitoring Control Centre in accordance with operational schedules, targets and requirements. Ensure resources are allocated in accordance with operational schedules, targets and requirements. Ensure compliance to the Policies and Procedures.
Oversee all routine tests are carried out on the system fleet equipment and follow up on any faults and alerts deviations. Liaise and communicate with system suppliers Nestar Bureau Centre companies on all matters with regards to the Management Monitoring Centre. Carry out / provide ongoing operational and Application software training for Controllers / Supervisors.  Assist in the information flow iro driver consultations. Maintain and manage the database.

Carry out random inspections on Monitoring equipment installations and Vehicle recovery equipment. Ensure timeous renewal and payments of license fees. Oversee the inspection and testing of a range of equipment. Execute projects regarding the upgrading of existing and future systems and applications. Extract and provide information from the System when requested.

Carry out internal investigations in the Monitoring Control Centre when required. Prepare and provide weekly and monthly reports, systems cost estimates and cost-benefit analyses.

8. Plant Manager:  Retread and Brake Plant - (Voms Industrial - Linbro Business Park

Job Requirements: Grade 12 or N3 Technical Course. Qualified Artisan (Mechanical, Electrical or Machinist). The candidate should ideally have managed a retread and brake refurbishment factory with at least 8 to 10 practical experience. Experience in powder coating and upholstery work would be an added advantage. Experience in plant maintenance and repair is essential.

 Job Outputs: Responsible for managing the tyre retread plant; brake reline plant; rim powder coating plant and the upholstery plant. Adhere to production budget, minimise material shrinkage, stock control and maintain quality/ safety in the work place. Control logistics related to collection and delivery of goods. qualification in the technical / N4 engineering field will be a strong advantage. Proven track record in

vehicle fleet management.
