1. Supervisor (Monitoring Control Centre)

Based at: Roseville (Pretoria)

Requirements: Grade 12 plus appropriate and recognized Tertiary qualification. 5 years Operations experience in the transport industry environment of which at least two years have been in a Supervisory position. Experience of working at a supervisory level within a Control Room as well as with Electronic Fleet Management and Monitoring Systems is preferred. Computer literacy essential at intermediate to advanced level.

Outputs: Supervise the day-to-day activities of Monitoring Control Centre in accordance with operational schedules, targets and requirements. Ensure resources are allocated in accordance with operational schedules, targets and requirements. Ensure compliance to the Policies and Procedures.
Oversee all routine tests are carried out on the system fleet equipment and follow up on any faults and alerts deviations. Liaise and communicate with system suppliers Nestar Bureau Centre companies on all matters with regards to the Management Monitoring Centre. Carry out / provide ongoing operational and Application software training for Controllers / Supervisors.  Assist in the information flow iro driver consultations. Maintain and manage the database.

Carry out random inspections on Monitoring equipment installations and Vehicle recovery equipment. Ensure timeous renewal and payments of license fees. Oversee the inspection and testing of a range of equipment. Execute projects regarding the upgrading of existing and future systems and applications. Extract and provide information from the System when requested.

Carry out internal investigations in the Monitoring Control Centre when required. Prepare and provide weekly and monthly reports, systems cost estimates and cost-benefit analyses.

Supervise subordinates. Ensure compliance with Policies and Procedures in the use of all equipment. Ensure that the required infrastructure and proper housekeeping, is maintained, within the Control Room.

2. Assistant Officer (Engineering Division - Johannesburg)

Requirements: Minimum Grade 12 (Std. 10) or equivalent academic qualification. Knowledge of several languages is required, as communication is a key aspect of this position. Experience in administration and Intermediate Level (MS Office/ Excel, Word) computer literacy. Robust Technical knowledge will be an advantage. Technical qualification will be an advantage. Receive and analyse the data with regards to technical performance. Coordinate meetings to provide information and corrective action required from data. Provide expert interpretation where required. Provide minutes from meetings. Provide consolidated reports indicating trends and solutions discussed/implemented.

Competencies: Knowledge of workshop procedures, knowledge of the bus passenger industry, knowledge of reporting and measuring tools, good planning and organizing skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, time management skills, supervisory and people management skills. 3. Workshop Foreman - (Pretoria)

Job Requirements: A minimum of Grade 12 (Std. 10) or equivalent academic qualification. The successful candidate needs to be a qualified Artisan Diesel Mechanic. The candidate must have a valid code EC or EC1 0.4 or C drivers licence and PrDP. Experience in maintenance of heavy, duty vehicles. The candidate should have experience in servicing and repairing automotive components as well as relevant supervisory experience.

Job Outputs: The successful candidate will coordinate and implement vehicle fleet maintenance activities. Control vehicle fleet activities. Ensure optimal human resource utilization. Compile reports for management information and manage subordinates. Ensure optimal vehicle availability on a daily basis as well as ensuring roadworthiness of vehicles.

4. Plant Manager:  Retread and Brake Plant - (Voms Industrial - Linbro Business Park)

Job Requirements: Grade 12 or N3 Technical Course. Qualified Artisan (Mechanical, Electrical or Machinist). The candidate should ideally have managed a retread and brake refurbishment factory with at least 8 to 10 practical experience. Experience in powder coating and upholstery work would be an added advantage. Experience in plant maintenance and repair is essential.

 Job Outputs: Responsible for managing the tyre retread plant; brake reline plant; rim powder coating plant and the upholstery plant. Adhere to production budget, minimise material shrinkage, stock control and maintain quality/ safety in the work place. Control logistics related to collection and delivery of goods. Compile daily production reports. Maintenance of machinery. Liaison with suppliers. Ensure housekeeping is kept at acceptable levels. Quality inspection. Conduct regular tool inspections.

5. Assistant Accounting Managers (Johannesburg & Pretoria)

Job Requirements: 4 year Diploma/Degree (preferably Honours), majoring in Financial accounting. Must have completed articles with a reputable accounting firm. 5 years relevant experience in a Finance Department/environment. 2 years’ experience in a Supervisory or Management position.

 Job Outputs:  Supervision and Management of Finance staff/associated responsibilities. Monitor and control the Revenue Systems office. Check and review monthly Revenue Cash book (RCB). Oversee and maintain effective control of all Private Hire accounting functions. Monitor and control Cashier and Banking functions. Monitor and control issuing, reconciliation, and re-banking of S&T, as well as submissions to Payroll. Oversee and maintain effective control over the issuing, return, maintenance and safe custody of modules and ticket machines. Authorise overtime for subordinates within Company directives. Oversee and reconcile the collection of cash revenue, and ticket sales of the cashiers, ticket sellers, and outsourced service providers. Check, verify and ensure correctness of Trial balance/General ledger (journals, corrections, provisions, accruals), before month and year-ends. Preparation and review of monthly General Ledger reconciliations before submission for approval. Monitor and control Accounts Payable function (Creditors, Cashbook, Petty Cash, Reconciliations). Assist with the drafting of Policies and procedures, and compliance thereto. Liaison/Correspondence with Senior Management, Business Unit Departments, Head Office, Internal and external auditors, Debtors, Creditors, Outsourced service providers, Banks. Job Requirements: Grade 12 or equivalent academic qualification. Tertiary qualification in Human Resources Management. More than five years relevant experience in an HR environment, preferably transport or motor industry, of which at least two years have been in a managerial position. Valid Code 08 (EB) drivers’ license. Proficient in MS Office (At least an intermediate level). Knowledge of computerised HR,Payroll and Time & Attendance systems will be an advantage.

7.  Workshop Manager - Johannesburg

Job Requirements: A minimum of Grade 12 (Std. 10) or equivalent academic qualification. Qualified Diesel Mechanic (other Artisan trade qualifications will also be considered). At least 5-8 years working experience in heavy duty vehicle maintenance. At least 2 years in a Management position. A post matric qualification in the technical / N4 engineering field will be a strong advantage. Proven track record in vehicle fleet management.

Job Outputs: Assist in managing the Technical Budget. Oversee maintenance to the vehicle fleet.

Manage maintenance of facilities, tools and equipment. Control workshop tools and equipment and control the inventory. Manage Engineering Administration functions. Supervise Workshop Personnel and identify developmental needs. Ensure that the Occupational Health and Safety Act Regulations are adhered to in the workshop. Monitor Asset Register. Liaise with Manufacturers and Suppliers to ensure optimal service delivery.
